This fee code is applicable for an additional open tendon release procedure on the finger or palm, performed during the same surgical session as the primary `R536` (Tendon release [open] finger/palm). It compensates for the additional work of releasing more than one tendon. As a surgical procedure, it may be eligible for age-based premiums as outlined in and after-hours procedure premiums as described on .
