This service is for the procurement of skin allograft for banking purposes. The surgical fee (R690A) is calculated per percentage of total body area harvested. The service explicitly excludes harvesting from the hand, head, or neck.
• Assistant services (R690B) are eligible for payment with 7 base units plus applicable time units.
• Anaesthesia services (R690C) are eligible for payment with 7 base units plus applicable time units.
The surgical fee is per percentage of total body harvested. Assistant services are eligible for 7 base units. Anaesthesia services are eligible for 7 base units.
