This fee is for the surgeon's service (suffix A). Separate fees are applicable for a surgical assistant (suffix B) and an anaesthetist (suffix C). The assistant fee is based on 6 base units plus time units. The anaesthetist fee is based on 7 base units plus time units. The procedure is eligible for various premiums including those for after-hours services, specific patient age groups, and trauma.
