This service is eligible for surgeon (<suffix>A</suffix>), assistant (<suffix>B</suffix>), and anaesthetist (<suffix>C</suffix>) fees. The fee for the assistant is calculated with 6 base units, and the anaesthetist fee with 7 base units, plus applicable time units for both as per and . When this procedure is performed laparoscopically, premium code E792 may be claimed for a 25% increase to the surgical fee.
