Retroperitoneal lymph node dissection (RPLND) is a surgical procedure for testicular tumours. Payment for a second assistant is only eligible following authorization by a medical consultant and requires submission of a letter from the surgeon outlining the reason the second assistant was required. An add-on premium of 25% is payable with billing code E792 if the procedure is performed laparoscopically.
