A diagnostic radiology service for a one or multiple day examination of the gallbladder, which includes a preliminary plain film. This service has both a professional component (Fee P) and a technical component (Fee H). The technical component is only payable when rendered in a hospital and is subject to restrictions as per of the Schedule. The professional component is for the physician's interpretation and report.

The technical component of a diagnostic procedure as described in the relevant section of the Schedule is only eligible for payment where the physician maintains documentation that describes the process by which the physician monitors quality assurance in accordance with professional standards.
