Cavernosography is a diagnostic imaging procedure of the genitourinary tract. This service is split into a technical component and a professional component, each claimed separately. - The Technical Component (H-fee) is for the performance of the imaging itself. As per , the claim is submitted using the fee schedule code with suffix B (e.g., X141B). - The Professional Component (P-fee) is for the physician's interpretation of the images. As per , the claim is submitted using the fee schedule code with suffix C (e.g., X141C). As per , the technical component is not eligible for payment if rendered to a hospital in-patient, or to a patient who attends a hospital for the diagnostic service and is admitted to the same hospital within 24 hours for the same condition.

- Claiming the technical component X141B for a patient who is subsequently admitted to the hospital within 24 hours of the procedure, which violates GP11 rules.
- Attempting to bill the technical component X141B for an in-patient, as this is considered part of the hospital's global budget and is ineligible for physician billing.
