Patient who is known to have malignant hyperthermia or there is a strong suspicion of susceptibility, and the anaesthetic requires full malignant hyperthermia set up and management
The patient must be known to have malignant hyperthermia or there must be a strong suspicion of susceptibility
The anaesthetic must require full malignant hyperthermia set up and management
Extra units are payable in addition to basic units and time units
The amount payable is calculated by adding the number of extra units to the total units (basic + time) and multiplying by the anaesthesiologist unit fee ($15.96)
