Extra units payable in addition to basic units when an anaesthesiologist administers an anaesthetic to an infant or child from 1 year to 8 years of age inclusive.
The patient must be between 1 year and 8 years of age inclusive at the time of the anaesthesia service.
The anaesthesiologist unit fee is $15.96 as of April 1, 2026.
Extra units are added to the basic units and time units of the primary anaesthesia service.
