E753 – Live donor nephrectomy add-on
OHIP Urogenital and Urinary Surgical Procedures Code — UROGENITAL AND URINARY SURGICAL PROCEDURES · Schedule of Benefits
This is an add-on fee payable in addition to the fee for S436 (Donor nephrectomy) when the kidney is from a live donor. The claim for this service must be submitted on the recipient's health number. This fee does not cover immunosuppressive therapy, which is billed separately.
The claim for this service and the associated parent procedure (S436) must be submitted using the recipient's health number.
The patient's medical record should clearly state the procedure was for a live donor.
Submit on recipient's claim. These fees do not include immunosuppressive therapy which is on a fee-for-service basis.
