E771 – Team fee - renal transplantation

The E771 team fee is payable in addition to the fee for a kidney re-transplant procedure (S434). This team fee is not eligible for payment when assistant fees are billed for the same surgical session (found on p.T3). Claims should be submitted under the recipient's health number. This fee does not include immunosuppressive therapy, which is billed separately on a fee-for-service basis.
