This is an add-on surgical procedure code for the resection of the diaphragm, including its reconstruction. It is only payable when performed in conjunction with S727 (Ovarian debulking for ovarian carcinoma of stage 2C, 3B, 3C, or 4).
As per , all insured services must be documented in the medical record to establish that the service was provided, medically necessary, and is the service for which the account is submitted.
