Non-Invasive Prenatal testing (NIPT). Listed under 2.8 Anatomical Pathology, Histology and Cytology > 2.8.1 Chromosome Analysis in the Schedule of Benefits for Laboratory Services (effective April 1, 2026). [Essential Specifications 29] L750 Non-Invasive Prenatal testing (NIPT) is an insured service only when a patient meets the indications specified by Prenatal Screening Ontario (PSO) by completing the Prenatal Test Requisition that is provided by the laboratory. L750 can only be claimed by laboratories that have entered into an agreement with the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario — Ottawa Children's Treatment Centre related to the participation of that laboratory in the provincial prenatal screening program. A Patient Documentation and Specimen Collection / Pick-Up Fee is not applicable and should not be claimed for L750 Non-Invasive Prenatal testing (NIPT).
