Haemoglobinopathy interpretation service. Payment for L829 is conditional upon abnormal test results. As with all insured services, this service includes all common elements as defined in the General Preamble on pages -.
The abnormal result must be documented in the medical record to support payment eligibility.
As per , all insured services must be documented in appropriate records that establish: 1. an insured service was provided; 2. the service for which the account is submitted is the service that was rendered; and 3. the service was medically necessary.
