• E604 may be claimed for fixation of each additional rib exceeding four ribs.
• E683 (add 35%) applies when performed thorascopically, by video-assisted thoracic surgery (VATS), by robotic-assisted surgery, or by uniportal approach.
• Assistant services (M116B) are calculated using 6 base units plus time units.
• Anaesthesia services (M116C) are calculated using 7 base units plus time units.
