Intradural rhizotomy is a surgical procedure involving the cutting of nerve roots within the dural sac. This procedure can be performed on either the anterior or posterior roots, on one or both sides (unilateral/bilateral), and can involve any number of nerve roots. As per the note on page of the Schedule (), N577 is not eligible for payment when rendered with any service in the Spinal Surgical Procedures section.
