When the anaesthetic services of more than one anaesthesiologist are necessary in the interest of the patient, the service provided by the second anaesthesiologist constitutes E001C.
The services of more than one anaesthesiologist must be necessary in the interest of the patient.
The basic units for E001C are fixed at 6 units ($95.76).
Time units are calculated for each 15 minutes or part thereof.
Each anaesthesiologist must indicate starting and finishing times in the medical record.
