Surgical procedure for the correction of strabismus by operating on the inferior oblique muscle. This fee is per muscle treated. This procedure is eligible for assistant (suffix B) and anaesthesia (suffix C) services, with fees calculated based on basic and time units. This code can be billed in combination with other strabismus muscle surgery codes (E182, E183, E185) up to a maximum of 4 per day. Add-on codes for adjustable sutures (E949) and repeat procedures (E877) may also apply.
