F137 – Nasal bones open reduction

The add-on code E825 for miniplates is described with an associated note on page N36: 'Where mini-plate(s) are used, one mini-plate fee per each major fracture line (e.g. infraorbital, malar-zygomatic, nasal-frontal, LeFort I, LeFort II and III) (per major fracture line per side) should be billed.' Although this note is positioned under codes F143 and F144, it clarifies the use of miniplate add-on codes generally.
