G575 is the professional component of a focused echocardiography study. A focused study is defined as an examination limited to a single component of the cardiac assessment. It is not to be claimed in conjunction with a pregnancy study.
Examples where a focused study may be applicable include:
1. Emergency assessment to guide immediate patient management.
2. Follow-up within 2 weeks of a complete study to re-evaluate a specific finding or question.

The component of the cardiac assessment and findings must be documented.
There must be a permanent recording on an appropriate dynamic medium, either videotape or digitally, of the constituent images and measurements.
