A premium payable to an Emergency Department Physician for services rendered during evening hours (17:00h to 24:00h) on Mondays to Thursdays, provided that no assessment code is claimed for the same patient visit.
Payable only when 'any other service' (e.g., a procedure or diagnostic test like H100) is rendered by the Emergency Department Physician during the specified premium hours.
The physician must be 'on duty' in the emergency department as defined in .
Usage limits
Limited to one premium per patient visit.

H114 is intended for situations where a procedure or other non-assessment service is the primary or only service provided during evening hours.

Ultrasound services (except H100 and J149) are generally not eligible for payment when rendered by an Emergency Department Physician.
