When to Use
- Use H114 when you perform a procedure (e.g., suturing or foreign body removal) during evening hours without billing an assessment code (H101-H154) for that same visit.
- Apply H114 when providing a diagnostic service like H100 during the 17:00-24:00 window on a weekday, provided no assessment code is claimed.

- Billing H114 alongside an assessment code (H101-H154) will result in an automatic rejection, as those assessment codes already contain built-in premiums.
- Using H114 on a statutory holiday instead of the correct H113 code will lead to payment discrepancies or audit flags.
