However, if they are performed, they are considered part of the insured service and are included in the fee for the main procedure.
When to Use
- Use R633 for complex fascial reconstruction of the femur involving significant tissue mobilization or synthetic reinforcement that exceeds the scope of a standard closure.
- Select R633 when a rotation flap is specifically required to cover a fascial defect in the femoral region, as the flap is bundled into this code.
