A service providing the basic anaesthesia units for cardiovascular procedures performed with hypothermia but without bypass. Per the Schedule, R700 replaces the procedural basic code when hypothermia is used where the basic anaesthesia value is less than 25 units. The anaesthesia fee is calculated using these basic units plus applicable time units.
