Retrograde aortic left heart catheterization with or without pressure measurement(s). This procedure is only eligible for payment when rendered with electrophysiologic pacing and mapping (G176), catheter mapping (G177), and/or catheter ablation therapy (G178). The service is limited to a maximum of one per electrophysiological pacing, mapping, and/or ablation sitting. This service is eligible for surgical assistant and anaesthesia services, which are calculated based on basic and time units.

1. Z422 is only eligible for payment when rendered with G176, G177 and/or G178.

2. Z422 is limited to a maximum of one per electrophysiological pacing, mapping and/or ablation sitting.
