1. Get your unique referral link from Settings > Referrals in your SnapBill dashboard
2. Share it with a colleague — by email, text, or in person
3. They sign up using your link and start billing
4. You both get $150 in billing credits, automatically applied to your next invoices

Why We're Doing This

Most physicians choose their billing platform based on a recommendation from a colleague they trust. That's how it should be — billing is too important to pick based on an ad.

If you're happy with SnapBill, we'd rather reward you for sharing it than spend that money on advertising. Every referral credit we pay out means a physician chose us because someone they trust recommended us.

Refer three colleagues and you've earned $450 in billing credits. At our Premium rate of 1.5%, that covers the commission on roughly $30,000 in paid claims — potentially months of free billing.

How to Get Started

1. Log in to your SnapBill dashboard
2. Go to Settings > Referrals
3. Copy your unique referral link
4. Share it with colleagues who bill OHIP

Your referral code looks like REF-XXXXXX — colleagues can also enter it manually during signup if they don't use the link.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a limit to how many people I can refer? No. Refer as many colleagues as you want. Each successful referral earns you another $150.

When do the credits activate? Credits become active once your referred colleague completes onboarding and starts billing. While they're still setting up, the referral shows as "pending" in your dashboard.

Can I use credits on any plan? Yes. Credits apply to invoices on both the Essentials and Premium plans.

What if the credit covers my entire invoice? If your credits exceed your invoice total, the remaining balance carries forward to your next invoice. You won't be charged until your credits are fully used.

Do I need to be on a paid plan to refer? You need an active SnapBill account. Free trial users can refer colleagues and the credits will be waiting when billing starts.
