The E024C is an anaesthesia premium that provides 4 extra units, payable in addition to the basic and time units of the primary anaesthesia service. This premium is applicable when an anaesthesiologist administers an anaesthetic to a patient who is in a sitting position greater than 60 degrees upright during the surgical procedure.
