A premium for the first person seen during a non-elective special visit to a patient's home (other than a long-term care institution), for visits that commence on a weekday between 07:00 and 17:00 with sacrifice of office hours. Fee $45.25 (max. 10 (total of first and additional person seen) per time period). Schedule of Benefits Special Visit Premium Table VI, Patient's Home (not long-term care) (). The time the special visit takes place must be documented in the medical record (). B960 and B990 maximums per physician per day count non-elective and elective visits together. Not payable with A007 or A001 rendered in the home. Bill with the appropriate A-prefix assessment from the General Listings.
