This service is for the electrocoagulation of polyps or tumours of the rectum or sigmoid, where the base of the lesion is under 2 cm. The '#' prefix indicates that for services performed in a hospital or Integrated Community Health Services Centre (ICHSC), the premises, equipment, supplies, and personnel are funded by the hospital global budget or facility costs respectively. Usage Limit: A maximum of two procedures for polyps or tumours of the rectum or sigmoid (any size or technique, e.g., Z753, Z754, Z785, etc.) are eligible for payment per patient, per day.
